The Pros Of Outdoor Pooltables HomeThis is a featured page

What exactly is an outside pool table, what makes it legit for use out-of-doors? Well mostly it is the same as whatever alternative pool table, but the framework and cloth are treated to defend against the weather influences. The framework is either pressure treated wood, similar to the decking on your patio or fibreglass which is fully weatherproof. The cloth is treated with a Simonise type process so it decline water. ( I have observed the cloth put under a tap and the water just runs off and the cloth is dry to the touch afterwards - remarkable) Other than that everything else is the same as any other table you will find in your local pub, using the same balls and cues as you would in a barroom or pool hall.

Also they are a slate bed pool table which means the playing surface is constructed from slate, so they will last a long time. The only thing that may occur is the cloth colour will get faded over time after exposure to the sun. To prevent this, always cover the table when you are not playing on it.

Playing the table will be similar to a pub pool table only there is bags of room being outside on the patio and you don't have to worry about if you have space in the house or not. A couple of the tables also come with optional table tops and benches so your pool table can double as a picnic table when you have guests etc. very practical. Also the wooden variants of the outdoor table can be harmonized to the color of the stain on your decking, so it will intermix perfectly.

When not using it say in the wintertime , the outdoor pool tables need to be protected to limit leaves and other autumn remains getting onto your table. Commonly they come with roomy covers that can be attached to the legs to shield them until they are played again the following spring. A really good bit of garden furniture isn't it?
